On Saturday, Groves Distance Education had the privilege of exhibiting at The Education Fair, held at UniSC Arena on the Sunshine Coast. The Education Fair brings together education providers from across South East Queensland, creating a welcoming space for families to explore the many educational pathways available for their children. From early learning through to secondary education and beyond, the event provides an opportunity for families to ask questions, compare options and discover the learning environment that best suits their child’s needs.
Throughout the day, we were incredibly encouraged by the warm welcome extended to us by both the event organisers and the Sunshine Coast community. It was a joy to meet so many families and hear their stories. While many were seeking a flexible learning option, what stood out most was the number of conversations centred around finding a school where Christian faith, values and genuine partnership with families remain at the heart of education.
It is a tremendous privilege to serve at Groves Christian College. Every conversation reminded us that our calling extends far beyond delivering curriculum. We have the opportunity to sow into the lives of children and young people, encouraging them academically while helping them grow in their faith and discover the unique gifts and purpose God has placed within them. It is a responsibility we never take lightly and one we count as a true blessing.
