How do I access the Edumate Carer or Student Portals?

To access the Edumate Carer or Student Portals login here. Parents can login using the details provided at enrolment. Students can login using their normal college username and password.

What should I do if I don’t have login details or have forgotten my password?

Providing we have your email address on record, your may retrieve your username or reset your password by selecting the ‘Can’t Login’ button in the lower left corner of the login box. If you still are unable to retrieve your username or reset your password using this method, please contact our support team at edumate.support@groves.qld.edu.au

What do the attendance status codes mean?

  • Present – The student was present for the entire day.
  • Absence Unexplained – The student was absent for the entire day without explanation.
  • Absence Illness – The student was absent for the entire day due to illness.
  • Absence Unverified – The student was absent for the entire day and the school has requested verification. Verification may be provided via the Edumate Carer Portal.
  • Absence Verified – The student was absent for the entire day due to another personal reason.
  • Partial Absence Verified – The student was marked absent for at least one period, or was signed out early due to another personal reason.
  • Partial Absence Unverified – The student was marked absent for at least one period, or was signed out early and the school has requested verification. Verification may be provided via the Edumate Carer Portal.
  • Partial Absence Illness – The student was marked absent for at least one period, or was signed out early due to illness.
  • Late Unexplained – The student was late to school without explanation. Explanation may be provided via the Edumate Carer Portal.
  • Late Unverified – The student was late to school and the school has requested verification. Verification may be provided via the Edumate Carer Portal.
  • Late Verified – The student was late to school due to another personal reason.
  • Late Illness – The student was late to school due to illness.

Can I update emergency contact details?

Whilst you can update details for yourself, unfortunately due to privacy implications, it is not possible to update your children’s emergency contact details for other carers or contacts via the Carer Portal. You will need to contact the College administration to do this. Administration can be contacted on (07) 3380 5800 or by emailing de@groves.qld.edu.au

How can I view my task results?

Task results are presently only available for Secondary students. Please refer to the step by step instruction guide below.
