It was wonderful to see some of our Prep–Year 2 Distance Education students attend the Foundation Phase Fun Run on Friday. Students had a fantastic time joining the Day School for this event, enjoying the opportunity to connect with others and be part of a whole-school experience.
The morning began with a time of worship and a message shared by our Foundation Teachers during Chapel. We then made our way down to the Sports Dome, where students were surrounded by floating bubbles, colourful obstacle courses, and plenty of cheering and dancing. After the event, we finished with a time of celebration, presenting each student with a special participation medal and certificate, followed by a cool, icy Zooper Dooper treat.
It was a special moment of community and participation for our younger learners. We’re looking forward to next year’s Fun Run already! Continuing to create opportunities for connection, joy and belonging across our Distance Education community.
