As the term comes to a close, our Middle Phase Distance Education students have much to celebrate. The mid-term study day provided an exciting opportunity for hands-on science investigations, encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills. Students also demonstrated their learning across all subject areas throughout the term via a range of assessment tasks.

The rotational subject for the term was HPE. Year 7 students designed and facilitated inclusive games for people with disabilities, showcasing creativity and empathy. Year 8 students reflected on their performance in a chosen sport or physical activity, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Year 9 students tested, improved and evaluated their fitness through practical activities and reflection.

These experiences connect well with the reminder in 1 Timothy 4:8: “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”
We congratulate all students on their efforts this term and wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break.
