Year 6 Gets Charged Up with Street Science!

Year 6 students had an electrifying time during the recent Street Science incursion! Throughout the session, students explored the exciting world of electricity and discovered how electrical circuits are used in everyday life.

Working hands-on, students learned how to build and test their own electrical circuits. They successfully connected circuits to a radio station, launched a spinner high into the air, and lit up light bulbs using the power they had created. It was fantastic to see students experimenting, problem-solving, and working together to get their circuits to work.

The incursion was full of fun, engagement, and practical learning, giving students a deeper understanding of electrical energy and how circuits work. The excitement in the room was contagious as each successful connection brought discoveries and plenty of smiles.

A big thank you to the Street Science team for delivering such an interactive and memorable learning experience for our Year 6 students!
