On Thursday and Friday, the 30th and 31st of July, a team of talented Groves athletes proudly represented our College at the District Athletics Trials. Having already qualified through a strong effort at our own athletics carnival, each student had earned their place at the event, making their selection a significant achievement in itself.
The trials brought together athletes from schools across two regions, creating a highly competitive field and providing students with the opportunity to test themselves against some of the district’s best performers. Throughout the two days, our athletes displayed determination, resilience and excellent sportsmanship as they competed across a range of track and field events.
We are incredibly proud of the effort and commitment shown by every member of the team. Regardless of the final results, representing Groves at this level is a fantastic accomplishment, and we congratulate all students on their performances and the way they represented our College.
