Learner.Link

Learner.Link is the name given to the learning management system that our online courses are run through. This technology is the primary method of delivery of course content, tasks, quizzes, assessment and other similar course elements.

Below is an example of the Learner.Link Dashboard.

Each course includes:

  • Your teachers contact details

  • Links to the Australian Curriculum

  • A biblical perspective of each course

  • Coursework and Resources

Teaching and Learning Sessions

Students in Prep-Year 3 participate in individual Teaching and Learning sessions for half an hour once a fortnight (approximately 7 sessions per semester). During these sessions, students and their home tutor are given one-on-one tutoring and support. These sessions are run through Skype Business which is provided in our free Office 365 suite package.

Assessments:

  • Students are assessed through set Learning Check Points and Assessments, which are uploaded to our online platform Learner.Link.

  • Learning Check Points allow teachers to monitor each student’s progress throughout the term, informing them on area’s where students need further support or extension work.

  • Assessment pieces are predominantly used to gauge whether a student has understood the term’s content in order to accurately report on a semester’s work.

  • Home Tutors are provided with an Assessment task sheet that steps them through the task.
