Community Fair Success
The Community Fair was an exciting event for the Library team. Dressed as music conductors and musical book characters, we enjoyed sharing our love of reading with the wider community.
One of the highlights of the day was the return of the popular Character Quest. More than 120 visitors successfully located all 19 hidden characters and entered the competition. Congratulations to our four winners, who each received a $30 Koorong gift voucher.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair and helped make the event such a success.
Primary Scholastic Book Fairs
We are eagerly looking forward to our Primary Scholastic Book Fairs, which will be held across both campuses in Week 6 (17-21 August). This year, the fairs take place in the week leading up to Book Week, providing a wonderful lead-in to the many exciting activities and celebrations planned.

Foundation and Intermediate students will have the opportunity to create wish lists during their scheduled class visits. A range of books and items will be available for purchase, with prices up to $15.
We are excited to host the Foundation Book Fair in the Foundation Library, providing a welcoming and familiar environment for our youngest readers. The Intermediate Book Fair will be held in our brand-new Library, which offers a wonderful space to celebrate reading and learning.

Looking Ahead
There is still plenty happening in the library this term. Year 6 and Secondary students can look forward to our Book Week celebrations, while the Secondary Write a Book in a Day competition will take place later in the term.
We are excited to see our students continue to engage in reading, creativity, and storytelling through these special events, and we look forward to celebrating their enthusiasm for books throughout the remainder of the year.
