On Tuesday 3 September, DGT Employment and Training (RTO) located at Meadowbrook hosted 17 students for a Trade Experience Day. Students who are exploring options in the trade industry for 2025 attended the event.

The students participated in varies trade sessions and rotated between automotive, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and hearing about how to be work-ready from CSQ (Construction Skills Queensland). They gave positive feedback at the end of the sessions, saying it helped them learn about the trades and consider what may be the best fit for them.

Students who are interested to study with DGT Employment and Training in 2025 are encouraged to contact Mrs Bergenhenegouwen regarding enrolment. The RTO is hosting an enrolment session on Tuesday 10 September and 17 September (during the school holidays) for students and at least a parent/guardian to complete the enrolment form.

The students participated eagerly in the activities and represented Groves Christian College positively. Well done!
