On Thursday, November 11, the Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting day at the Planetarium at Mt Coot-tha. After a term of in depth studies about the Earth and Space during science, students had a great time discovering the Cosmic Sky dome, which is a projection dome with a 12 meter diameter. The Japanese gardens and the rainforests formed an excellent back drop for devotions about the Creation story.

Our SRC members wished to share their experiences with you:
Noah from 3R said, “I enjoyed learning about God’s creation and the planets and stars.”
Blessing from 3H said, “We walked around as a group and it was great fun. It looks like virtual reality.”
Kady from 3J said, “I loved how it was 3D!”
Michael from 3T said, “My favourite memory was when we stopped and looked up at the trees then a big gust of wind blew yellow flowers down, all over us.”
