Positive Talk in a World of Negativity

In this day and age of negativity in the media, where our children are exposed to media in all forms, including TV, computers, smartphones and tablets, we must also watch how we speak to and encourage our children.

‘Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.’
Ephesians 4:29

As we come into Award season, we must remind our students that each and every one of them is worthy. Yes, everyone has sinned and falls short of the glory of God, but God has also gifted us all with different talents. With this in mind, we are looking forward to celebrating the successes and gifting of our students here at Groves. I also encourage you to continue to use supportive and positive language with your children at home.
