Congratulations on a successful term! It is fantastic to see the engagement and dedication of our students towards their learning. Well done to all our students on your achievements this term.

As restrictions eased this term we were able to run events such as Cross Country, Book week, Primary Athletics, Father’s Day Chapels, camps and many more. It was great to see our DE families involved in our sporting events and camps. It takes a whole College community to bring these events into existence and to enable students to experience life beyond the classroom. I thank each staff member for their dedication to Christian schooling for our students at Groves and to our families for your ongoing partnership.

It is amazing how God is using Groves in this time and place. It is a special blessing to be involved in God’s work as what we do has eternal significance even if we do not see the immediate fruit of our work. I know so many of us share the following values as written in Matthew 6:19-21, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

I pray that all of our families enjoy a safe holiday. We look forward to welcoming our students back for Term 4 on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

God bless,
