On Tuesday, August 18, the College will be presenting a compulsory Year 11 Subject Selection Information evening for students who will be entering Year 11 in 2021. During this evening information regarding senior subjects and pathways will be provided. Every Year 10 student is to attend accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The evening will run in two sessions in order to meet the government requirements for the COVID 19 pandemic. The first session will run from 4:45 pm until 6:00 pm and the second session will run from 6:15 pm until 7:30 pm. Families need to attend one of the two sessions. Each session will start in the MPC where we will be breaking off for smaller group rotations to explain the aspects of the subject selection process. Dinner in the form of sandwiches and wraps will be provided during one of the smaller group rotations. Families who are attending the first session, need to arrive at the MPC at 4:30 pm to register and receive their information pack for the evening. For the second session, please arrive at 6:00 pm.

The evening will include the following rotational sessions:
• Unique Student Identifier (USI) application and SET-Plan booking.
• Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and subject selection procedure.
• Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This is a compulsory event and students are required to wear their formal uniform. Please bring along your Medicare card or passport for the USI application.

Families who have not indicated which session they will be attending are asked to do that as soon as possible by following the link below. Session tickets are free and are made through Eventbrite.
