National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. Last Thursday, interested students participated in some activities and experiments that were designed to promote and encourage interest in science, engineering, mathematics, technology and innovation; and communicate the relevance of them in everyday life. It was exciting to see many students showing a real passion for science as some researchers predict that future workers will spend more than twice as much time on job tasks requiring science, maths and critical thinking than today. Groves seeks to prepare students for the jobs of the future and their career opportunities ahead. Thank you to Miss Swords and Mrs Narayan for helping plan such a fun event.
