The author of Ecclesiastes wisely said: ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens (Ecc 3:1). The first 5 weeks of Term 2 became a season for online learning, where students, parents and teachers have been engaging in and learning about Technology. In order to supplement their technological knowledge and experience, I have created a series of videos (called “Parts of a Computer”), and a series of games (“30min games” – games that were created in 30 minutes or less) to encourage students to explore the functions of a computer, and to play around with the Scratch coding platform.
The videos are available at the following links. Please note that they are only available to student sign-ins.

The eliminate-CoVid-themed games (built on the Scratch Platform) are available at the following links. Students were encouraged to play responsibly.
- CoVid 19 Breaker
- Cut the CoVid (video permissions required. Please read all disclaimers before playing.)
- Cut the CoVid (no video required)
In the last 2 weeks, the students have mentioned that they miss their technology lessons. We look forward to creating more games in technology lessons next semester.
