It’s been another busy and productive week around Intermediate campus. In order to acknowledge and recognise student achievement, weekly awards are being distributed in all classrooms each week. For this week, special mention goes to 3H, who are our Class of the Week, for their focussed hard work during reading comprehension activities. Congratulations to 3H!

Next week on Monday, June 22, we will be having our school photos taken. Year 3 students will be required to meet their teachers from 8:00am in the Foundation Undercover area, on campus 1. Meanwhile students in Years 4, 5 and 6 will begin their day on campus 2 and will be shuttled across for their photographs and returned to their classrooms afterwards. For more information, please refer to the School Photo Day blog on our college website. Whilst order forms have been sent home, we will need the completed forms to be brought back to school on the photo day as students will be required to pass these directly to the photographers.

In all classes we continue to promote and encourage student reading particularly as they participate in the Premier’s Reading Competition. It has been exciting to see so many students filling in the books they have completed reading since the competition began. Students can also include books read from our own Home Reading program and books borrowed from the school library here. The competition officially finishes on Friday, August 28 when the record forms need to be returned to class teachers.
