During outside play times, Foundation students are given opportunity to play in areas of nature within the college grounds. Here they have a chance to run, build and let their imagination go wild by visualising themselves in a variety of different play situations, where a simple stick can become a fishing rod, baton for leading the marching band, paint brush, barbell weights or a horse. The students know the boundaries and ways to stay safe while having the opportunity to create new and amazing adventures, supervised by Foundation staff. It is refreshing to see the pupils conjuring up imaginative play scenarios that they share with their friends.
