Keep striving to reach your goals

Our mission is to engage, equip and challenge students to live God inspired, purposeful, fulfilled, loving lives now and into eternity. One way to do this is by encouraging students to strive for new personal bests and to be constantly developing as a learner.  An attitude of learning and reflection are lifelong skills to nurture from the early years till adulthood.

A strategy to develop learning is to set clear obtainable goals. By setting achievable goals, the tasks will not seem so overwhelming and as a result, confidence grows and so does the individual’s capacity to challenge and engage with harder concepts and skills.

Whether it be a student learning a new word, finishing that challenging book or taking end of term exams, we encourage the virtue of perseverance as they work towards their goals. Students should remain focused and practice diligence when managing multiple tasks or completing something difficult. Through God’s word we see that we can do all things through His strength and as staff we encourage our students in these final weeks of Semester 1 to keep striving to reach their personal best. We are thankful for the partnerships we have with families as we all work together to encourage the students to work to the best of their ability and refine their God given giftings.

We ask you to join with us in prayer for our students finishing exams and assessments during this time.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
