It’s been ‘collaboration central’ at Head Office (Year 12 Business class), with colleagues forced to assess situations faced by several businesses in the post-maturity stage of the business life cycle. Students have been unpacking the main issues faced by large businesses at risk of falling into administration using analytical tools to evaluate internal and external environmental factors contributing to their downturn. Students have naturally been able to identify how the current COVID situation has a significant impact on local, national and global business.

After sadly losing work hours, many students have learned, first-hand, how such a macro environmental issue affects individuals, families and the community. Students have been drawing upon knowledge gained throughout Year 11 and 12 Business, to critically reflect on the key components of business success, and the importance of contingency planning.

Year 12 Business entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, are well equipped to take on key roles in any business in the future!
