Measurement in all forms is a crucial factor in our everyday lives. Year 3 students have been exploring the many methods used to measure the length of small objects, distances between furniture and the volume of liquid containers.

Using hands on experiences, students are becoming accustomed to estimating objects and distances accurately. Practicing and refining their skills with tape measures, rulers and measuring cups has been challenging, enjoyable and rewarding.

We watch with anticipation as the Year 3 students expand their knowledge and application of measurement in their everyday lives.
