Perseverance and Resilience
We can all be quite hesitant about ‘change’ as it involves unfamiliar routines, new perspectives and adjustments for a greater outcome. However, as we embrace ‘change’ it has the potential to unlock various skills within ourselves, enabling us to overcome situations we never thought we could tackle.
It has been encouraging to see students, both on and off-campus exercise a range of skills during these uncertain times. Their perseverance and resilience to continue with their learning despite all the changes has been remarkable. It is evident that they have applied values and character traits including knowledge and self-control, and for this, we highly commend them for their positive approach.
This week in Primary DE, students are participating in group teaching and learning sessions in place of the Term 3 Workshops. These sessions are subject focused but are highly interactive, allowing students to engage with one another. While across Secondary DE, students are benefiting from an additional week of online group lessons due to the postponed Workshops.
We are fortunate to have our supportive Groves community, who have been partnering alongside with us through such times.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you are involved in various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But you must let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4
We continue to pray for our families, students and staff for God’s protection and guidance each day.
