At the Week 9 Intermediate Chapel on Monday, March 24, students were separated along Junior and Senior lines in the undercover area at Campus 2. The Year 3 and Year 4 students enjoyed Chapel together and the Year 5 also joined together with the Year 6 students. Our specialist teachers taught the students about the meaning of Easter along with the Biblical story of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus.
On Tuesday, March 25, Intermediate Phase students also had assembly in Junior and Senior versions in the undercover area on Campus 2. We celebrated all students receiving the weekly awards such as Encouragement award, Student of the Week, Class of the week and Homework Hero. Congratulations to 4M for being class of the week. Well done to Debora from 4G for receiving the Homework Hero award for their diligence completing task at home.
I would like to commend all students and staff for the way they are adjusting and adhering to the need for additional hygiene and social distancing this week at school.
As a college we are constantly reviewing medical and government directions and as such have made the decision to cancel our weekly chapel and assembly gatherings for week 10. Students will engage with chapel materials on a virtual format in their classrooms.
