This term, Year One students have had a lot of fun learning about directional language using many kinds of hands-on activities. One of the students’ favourite Maths activities this term has been using the Bee-Bots. Bee-Bots are small robots that can be programmed to move forwards, backwards, left and right, in order to move along pathways to reach various locations in the classroom. The students have been excited to not only use their new knowledge of directional language in their speech, but to put their new learning into practise using the fun Bee-Bots.
