On Friday, October 25, students across the College acknowledged the important message of Day for Daniel. Through assembly messages and classroom activities, students were reminded of safe actions and reactions that can help them be safe around traffic, strangers and online. Day for Daniel is an annual event which prioritises child safety, and helps children plan safety networks so they can access support or help if they find themselves in an unsafe situation. We thank families who donated a gold coin and arranged for their children to wear red in remembrance, as these donations go directly to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation to support their work in promoting child safety awareness. This year Groves raised $604.10 towards this worthy cause.
