Fearfully and wonderfully made

As created beings made in the image of God, we have been given the skills and talents to be creative ourselves. Through the curriculum and events such as workshops and study days, students in Distance Education are encouraged to express that creativity. This semester students across Prep to Year 9 have been exploring ‘The Arts’ through dance, drama, music and visual arts. It is impressive to see each student’s different interpretation of these areas and exciting to see the final work that is presented.

Promoting creative thinking at workshops

Using marbling techniques and melted crayon flakes, students were able to create their representations of the vast universe at our recent workshops. They then used their creative thinking to come up with solutions for moon buggy designs and were able to safely guide their ‘Egg-stronauts’ back to earth in our space themed ‘STEM’ workshop.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
