Welcome to Term 4. I trust you had an enjoyable break with your children. Although Term 4 is a short term, it is a busy term full of learning, events and culmination days.

It is important through the busyness of the term to maintain routines and expectations. There are many ways to support your child at home.

    • Have high expectations. Letting your child know that you think it is important that they do well in school, will motivate them to succeed academically.
    • Talk about school. Talking with your child about what is happening at school- activities, programs and what they are learning, will have a greater impact on academic achievement.
    • Help your child develop a positive attitude toward learning and good work habits. Research shows that the greatest influence you can have on your child’s success in school lies in how you influence their attitudes, their sense of personal competence and their work habits, including persistence, seeking help and planning. Continual praise for their effort and persistence will build a solid foundation for ongoing success.

Our vision at Groves is to see young men and women with loving hearts and strong minds for God shine like stars as they pursue His purpose now and into eternity. Shining through values, virtues and character traits. This term as parents, you will see your children shine through our spectacular award ceremonies, displaying our students’ gifts and talents.

We look forward to an exciting term partnering with you.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.  2 Timothy 1:7
