The safety of children is a priority for our Groves community. For this reason, the Primary School gives special focus to Day for Daniel every year, with direct teaching around strategies and actions that help our children keep themselves safe. This year Day for Daniel will be acknowledged on Friday 25 October, the end of Week 3, Term 4, where students will be invited to wear red and donate towards this important organisation. The Primary School will again participate in activities around safety, including physical and personal safety and we will hear from our Adopt-a-Cop during the week who will remind our students of what they can do to stay safe.

If families have any questions about the topical teaching of this week, or general College approaches to child safety, please feel free to speak with any member of staff. Our Child Protection Policy is also an excellent resource in this area, and available publicly on our website.
For further information on the Day for Daniel, please see the attached information letter.
