On Monday, Week 9, we had our usual Monday morning Chapel but a change of venue to the C2 Hall. It began with Year 3 organising a game for the students to compete where some students walked on an easy wide road and others were required to contend with a narrow path and some obstacles. This game was then followed with praise songs from the Chapel Crew. Our message this week was also presented by the Year 3 Teachers and focused on the Lord’s plan for each of us. The scripture for the morning was Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Today, at our weekly Assembly in Week 9, students were honoured for their effort and application to learning in the previous week with their ‘Encouragement’ and ‘Student of the Week’ certificates. The ‘Class of the Week’ award went to 6L for their great work on angles during Mathematics. Our ‘Homework Hero’ award went to Justin from 5B. Congratulations also to Kaysie from 3H, Lia Maree from 4D, Levi from 5E and Kapsiansum from 6B for winning the ‘Physical Education Student of the Week’ award.

Upcoming Chapel venue change: Our weekly Chapel in Week 10 will take place on Monday, September 16 as scheduled but with a change of venue to the Undercover area, here at C2.
