The Year 2 cohort had a fantastic time participating in their Raw Art incursion, creating ‘fancy lizards’. Students were guided through a careful and methodical process of creating their own clay reptile using a variety of techniques. They learned the importance of crosshatching and explored how this technique was needed to securely bind the various components of their clay sculpture together. It was a joy to see the students have fun, express their artistic flair and produce high quality lizard sculptures.
