This week students from Intermediate phase have had lots of exciting Literacy activities happening in their classrooms to celebrate Book week. In addition to Book Week our students have also been participating in the Premiers reading challenge and associated weekly challenges such as to create a book cover with rewards given to the winners. Also in associated news, students have been visiting the Book fair here in the library to peruse the new books for sale and also buying during their allocated class times or during lunch breaks.

On Wednesday morning last week, all of Intermediate phase got into the spirit of book week for our annual character parade in the undercover area. Students and staff alike dressed in a diverse array of different costumes from Willy Wonka to the Three little pigs. Congratulations to the following students who were chosen as the best dressed boy or girl from their particular grade levels! From Year 3 Ziva and Isaac, from Year 4 Zali and Benson, from Year 5 Elizabeth and Zen and Bailey and Vashti from Year 6.
