From Prep to Year 9, students in DE are exposed to a variety of subjects, from Science to The Arts. It is during this time that they begin to identify topics and subjects they enjoy, in which they have the freedom to delve deeper into at home.

As they prepare to enter Senior Phase, they will spend time considering whether they want to study a University or Workforce ready pathway. Students are encouraged at this time, to prayerfully consider their options and acknowledge and seek support, advise and wisdom from family and the various staff members they have access to through the school.

Some students have formed a firm decision of what they intend to do after school, and others are still considering options. All students will be given guidance during Subject Selection evenings and SET Plan meetings to help them on their chosen pathway. Mapping out the final school years can at times be overwhelming, but it is helpful to remember to seek the Lord, who will guide us on our path.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
