In Science, Year 1 students have been discovering the properties of food and how they change when heated and cooled. Recently, the students played with spaghetti, both cooked and uncooked. They found that the look and feel of spaghetti changes when heat is added. Cooked spaghetti was better for creating interesting pictures, while thin, uncooked spaghetti was fun to build with marshmallows. The students have had a fun time exploring spaghetti and other foods during the term.
