Year 4 students were certainly challenged by the various rock climbing walls and the obstacle course they explored at Crank Indoor Rock Climbing Centre last week. This experience has allowed the students to make a connection with their Science unit on Forces, Friction and Gravity. Students were keen to learn from the instructors and used what they learnt to achieve great heights! Some students participated in racing their friends up the wall, others quietly persevered in trying and trying again to reach the top – and did! This event was a great team building time and it was wonderful to see the students cheering each other on and encouraging one another to keep going and not give up. A special thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who were a great help on the ropes! And what did the students think about the day? “It was the best excursion we’ve ever been on!”

A gallery of photos will soon be available.
