  • Certificate II in Hospitality

Certificate II in Hospitality

SCIPS is running a Certificate II in Hospitality starting on 20 May for young people no longer at school who are unemployed or underemployed, this will run for four weeks, and will include work experience.

Certificate II in Retail courses will also be commencing closer to the end of term which might suit some past students. These courses are at no cost to the student as they are funded through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.

As part of the transition courses, SCIPS will provide work experience and industry mentors to work with these young people to help keep them stay engaged as they find their next step, be it work or returning to study through other means. The SCIPS wrap-around service is offered until the student/parent feels they don’t need it any more. All our young people are encouraged to touch base with SCIPS as they move forward so that we can help them access other funding groups to help them find work etc.

Attached is the flyer for the Hospitality course.

Students can register their interest at: www.studentrego.com and enter Rego Code 92721. Once registered, SCIPS will get in contact with the student and parent/guardian.
