Next term we will be welcoming Indigenous Australian artist Leeton Lee to our DE workshops to share his unique Christian perspective of this rich culture. Leeton is a descendant of the Bundjalung and Thunghutti tribes in New South Wales and the Mualgai tribe of Moa Island located in the Torres Strait Islands. He is an experienced artist who aims to revitalise his culture by working with youth to pass on knowledge and skills. For these workshops, students will learn how natural resources found in Australia can be used as everyday items, including string and glue. They will also learn about Indigenous Art and boomerangs.
