Year 3 students have been working hard this term discovering the benefits of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Students were given the freedom to use a range of tools such as sticky tape and glue to practise their problem-solving skills. The students have enjoyed using the resources such as cups, pipe cleaners and aluminium foil to make a range of interesting creations. The literacy focus for this term is narratives and students have been busy writing down their ideas and using the items in STEM to physically create their characters. While some have created superheroes and muscle men, others have created robots and dazzling princesses.
