Reflection of CSSAQ Touch Football

Last Friday saw the 2nd day of competition for CSSAQ Touch Football at Fairfield Touch Fields. Groves sent two teams away to represent the College, Year 11/12 Girls and Year 11/12 Boys.

The Year 11/12 Girls were competitive all day with a mixed bag of results. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to make the final at the end of the day, but that didn’t deter any of the girls.

The Year 11/12 Boys had a slow start with a 3-3 draw in their first game. After that they rallied with some strong results including a 6-0 win before eventually losing to Mueller College in the Final 4-3 in what was a high competitive and exciting game that could’ve gone either way. Great performances across the board from all the boys got them into the final and so close to winning the day.

Special thanks goes to Mrs Jones for all her hard work and dedication towards seeing this group of students succeed not only this year, but in years before also.
