Throughout this week students in the Primary and Secondary Schools have marked the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence on Friday, March 15, 2019 through activities that link to the topic “Bullying. No Way! Take action every day”. All students from Prep to Year 12 have shared age-appropriate learning on the topics of healthy friendships, kindness, respect, bullying signs and speaking up. Included in this learning are reminders to students about how they are able to seek help with conflicts, concerns or patterns of bullying as members of the Groves community.
Families are able to view some of the supporting curriculum or access the parent resources for the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence at https://bullyingnoway.gov.au/ and are encouraged to speak to College staff with any concerns they may have with bullying for their children.
