In Week 2 the Year 12 Legal Studies class attended a Legal Studies Conference at Griffith University. The conference is aimed at Year 12 students and helps them to discover, analyse and investigate a variety of legal issues, as well as honing their research skills.

Some of the topics our Year 12 students attended included: family law, street law, technology and the law and animal rights.

The day served a dual purpose of providing an opportunity to investigate topics students could consider using for their Term 1 Independent Inquiry task, while also giving an insight into some aspects of university life.
