On Friday last week, our Year 11 Mathematics and Fashion classes went on an excursion to Loganholme. The students had a great time seeing products up close at Logan Hyperdome.

We compared store layouts and merchandising techniques used in shops ranging from Kmart to Tarocash. Lighting, furniture, window treatments, products, prices and sales techniques vary from shop to shop. It was a great way to compare and contrast in one place.

Maths students concentrated on home decorations and comparing prices in different stores. They are very happy that they do not have to pay to decorate a house for real!
