College Life: 2019, Term 1, Week 2

I am a Learner

Across the College we are encouraging every student to be a learner who is: Respectful, Responsible, Resourceful and Resilient. Strengthening these characteristics will help our students transform how they respond to the world they live in and help them to develop loving hearts and strong minds. It will also help students develop a love for learning, and to become lifelong learners.

Teachers will be helping their students explore the learning connections between everyday experiences and structured knowledge. As parents we can model an enthusiasm and passion for learning and we can help create a home environment that supports learning.

Let us partner together this year to help our young people make choices that will help them to live a blessed life now, and into eternity.

Swimming carnival success

Well done Secondary students on helping the Swimming Carnival be such a success. Your attendance, participation and House spirit were outstanding. It was encouraging to see you cheering on your friends and having fun in the pool! Thank you to Mr Priestley for organising your first major event at Groves.

God bless,
