Moree Gap Year

Is your child finishing Year 12 and thinking about taking a gap year in 2019? Do they want to gain invaluable experience and learn what it means to live a life of mission and service? Ephraim House, a ministry of Hands and Feet Inc., is a Christian charity dedicated to serving and equipping local Christians, as well as evangelising and connecting with families in the town of Moree. There is a great need in the North-West Region for a more connected community that supports and encourages one another. Please see attached flyer for more information. Moree Gap Year Flyer

Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative

SCIPS assist graduating students who might need a helping hand with post-school work readiness through the ready for work program and then if need be, look at the get set for work, Retail or Hospitality courses. SCIPS are fully funded through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative so there is no cost for students to work with us. One of our point of difference to other programs is that we will place them in work experience to build their skill set and confidence and then work with them to find employment, be that full time or part-time. We also will refer them to other community organisations for further training etc. if we can’t offer them a course they are looking for. Ready for Work is for young people aged from 15 to 24 and the Get Set for Work is for 15 to 19 year-olds.
