Week 6 Touchdown

At Touchdown on Friday, August 24 students started working on their Father’s Day gifts. This year they are making mosaic projects – either a plate, mirror or coasters. This week, they glued their tiles in place and on Friday, August 31 students will grout their mosaics. New students are welcome to attend even if they did not start the mosaic last week. Friday, August 31 will also be the last touchdown for the term.

Touchdown is a program that is run for Groves Distance Education students who have additional needs from Prep – Year 12. It is run on Friday mornings (usually on a fortnightly basis) from 9:30am – 11:30am at Campus 2, located at 12 Velorum Drive, Kingston. There is no registration needed if you are attending, you simply come to Campus 2 on the day and sign in at the hall.

Please ensure that your student wears closed in shoes and brings a water bottle, a hat and a small, healthy snack for morning tea.
