2019, Year 11 Subject Selection Evening

On Tuesday, July 24, we will be having a compulsory Subject Selection evening for our Year 10 students that will be going into Year 11 in 2019. We will discuss your child’s subjects and intended pathway for their senior years of schooling. This is a compulsory evening for all families. Every Year 10 student is to attend accompanied by a parent.

The evening will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and dinner will be provided. Please meet at the MPC from 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm start, where we are breaking off for smaller group sessions to explain aspects of the subject selection process.

The evening will include the following rotational sessions:
• Dinner
• SET plans
• QCE
• VET and ATAR
• 21st Century skills

The aim of this evening is to connect parents with the information necessary to help your child have the best chance of success in Years 11 and 12 and life after school. This is a compulsory event; however, if you are unable to attend, please call Mrs Jane Thornton to discuss an alternative method of providing you with the information.

Please RSVP on the linked Google form by Friday, July 20 for catering purposes.
