Prep Vision Screening

Children’s Health Queensland is offering a new vision screening program where a registered nurse visits the school to provide free screening of children in their first year of formal schooling. Good vision is important for our students’ education, physical and social development and early identification of vision problems can result in better school achievement and health outcomes. Our Prep students have received consent packs for parents to be informed in more detail about the screening process. All information is treated confidentially and will be sent to the Primary School Nurse Readiness Program staff. Parents do not need to be present during the screening test as it will be carried out during school hours.
Screening days: 30th and 31st of May, 1st and 7th of June.

Thank you for supporting our students.
