Touchdown

At Touchdown on Friday 27th April, students learnt the song “Lean forwards, lean backwards”. After we had mastered singing with the actions, we tried to sing it as a round which proved to be quite challenging. Student also made cardboard finger puppets and tried some origami animals.

Touchdown is a program that is run for Groves Distance Education students with additional needs from Prep – Year 12. It is run on Friday mornings (usually on a fortnightly basis) from 9:30am – 11:30am at Campus 2, located at 12 Velorum Drive, Kingston. There is no registration needed if you are attending, you simply come to Campus 2 on the day and sign in at the hall.

Please ensure that your student wears closed in shoes and brings a water bottle and a small, healthy snack for morning tea.
