Operation Christmas Child 2017

How quickly does time fly? Christmas is soon approaching us and that means it is time for another year of packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!

Operation Christmas Child shares the love of Christ at Christmas through sending thousands of shoeboxes to children who would not receive a present at Christmas.

Just as in previous years, we have been asking for donations of small gifts we can fill shoeboxes with to send overseas. Click the following URL for gift ideas. Operation Christmas Child gift ideas

Over the holidays, if you would like to donate, please start to purchase some gifts to place in our shoeboxes. Campus 1 gift drop off can be found within the Foundation Library. Campus 2 gifts drop off will be in their classrooms with their teacher where a class competition will be run like last year.

Date Claimer – Wednesday the 25th of October will be Groves PACK-A-BOX day. Last year, we greatly appreciated all the help packing the shoeboxes! This year we would love to do the same again. Stay tuned for further information regarding this day to be sent early next term, or alternatively feel free to email me for more information – ellen.watters@groves.qld.edu.au

Thanks for spreading the good gift of Christ.
