Head of College – Week 9

Awesome students led by inspirational student leaders

War cries, words of encouragement and celebrations of achievement all under a wonderful Winter sunny sky made the annual secondary athletics carnival a great success. Thank you to everyone who participated, helped and contributed.

Special thanks to:

  • Andy Hourigan, Sports Director, and the secondary staff for your positive presence and overall organisation.
  • Our property staff: Darren, Anthony, Yo and Simon for an excellent field.
  • Students who participated for house points.
  • College and House Captains.
  • Parent supporters.

Serious approach to exams

I am pleased to see so many senior students studying and approaching their exams seriously. We pray that their hard work preparing for the exams helps them to do their best. For those who drifted during the term, my hope is that the exam period is a wakeup call that will propel them to action for Term Three.

Loving Hearts Strong Minds

Our vision is to see young men and women with loving hearts and strong minds for God shine like stars as they pursue God’s purpose now and into eternity. In the Bible, we are reminded that Godly citizens cause a city to prosper (Proverbs 11:11). Australia needs loving people with strong minds for God making the world a better place for everyone.

I am grateful for our students and want them to enjoy a life of purpose.

God bless,

Allan Weir
